What is Design?

undoubtedly everywhere and we can all name examples of design.
We might even be able to say what design definitely isn't.
However, there is no satisfactory explanation of exactly what
design is.
Some things
design can be:

considered creative or problem solving process

concern with fulfilling material and spiritual needs or
simply improving things for people

realising or exploring an idea

the
application of an invention but also sometimes the invention
itself

a
combination of form and function, art and technology or
creativity and science

the
process of working towards a goal or working from a problem
to find the best solution
